Jon brings exceptional experience leading global, customer-centered organizations of scale and is driven to build a sustainable, people-focused future for Fishawack Health

Jonathan Koch has joined Fishawack Health as our new CEO tasked with driving a sustainable future for the company. Jon will lead us through our next phase of growth, which is centered on building and retaining talented teams and delivering a full set of integrated services for our clients across the life science industry.

An important part of Jon’s strategy is uniting our team of more than 1,300 team members across 21 offices with a single purpose and strategy, supported by a cohesive company culture and shared core values. His appointment follows the announcement of Liz Landon as our new Chief People Officer, cementing our commitment to ensure Fishawack Health is an outstanding organization to work for today, and for years to come.

“Building a sustainable future for Fishawack Health means attracting, developing, and retaining talented team members who are knowledgeable, passionate, and effective, and above all, anchored in our shared purpose and values,” explains Jon. “This, coupled with developing an exceptional integrated service set for our clients, is one of the most important things I can do as a leader. Doing so will ensure our teams are empowered to innovate for our life science clients and the patients and healthcare professionals we all serve.”

While Jon does not shy away from the challenging decisions that need to be made by the CEO, he is a believer in the power of the team, leading and working without hierarchy. He has significant experience in transforming businesses and leading teams and companies of all sizes, including large, global, customer-centered organizations.

Jon has spent his entire career in the healthcare sector and is looking forward to building relationships with our pharma, biotech, and medical technology clients and developing a deep understanding of their goals, needs, and expectations of our business.

He spent 12 years working at Covance (now Labcorp Drug Development), where he last served as Group President of Clinical Development and Commercialization services and led more than 11,000 employees across dozens of countries. Over the last two decades, Jon developed a deep passion for helping life science companies bring innovative therapies to market that positively impact patients’ outcomes.

Most recently, Jon served as Senior Vice President and CEO of Global Dental at the publicly listed organization Henry Schein, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and business performance of its largest healthcare division and leading technology business.

“This is an exciting time for Jon to join our organization,” says Gail Flockhart, Group President. “We have achieved tremendous growth through extensive client relationships, and our acquisition strategy has successfully brought specialist capabilities together to become a leading commercialization partner for clients. We are looking forward to this new phase in which Jon can share his extensive experience of successfully unifying businesses by improving processes and infrastructure needed for efficient and effective delivery of new integrated services and technologies,” she adds.

Jon’s appointment follows the news that Oliver Dennis and Dominic Miller stepped down from their roles as CEO and COO in September. The Fishawack Health team greatly respects and appreciates Oliver’s and Dominic’s leadership and personal investment in building the company over the last 20 years and is excited to usher in a new era under Jon’s leadership.
